ATTENTION TO THOSE ENJOYING THE PARADE
As we prepare for the 2024 Innisfil Santa Claus Parade, we must remind parents and those enjoying the parade that we have guidelines in place to protect yourself and your loved ones from any potential harm.
It is dangerous to sit on the curb with your feet in the roadway.
It is dangerous to stand on the opposite side of the barriers.
It is dangerous to stand on the road and run out to any float.
Parade floats are big, making it difficult for drivers to see everyone clearly. Any objects or people in the way could cause serious injury. We request that everyone stays off the roadway at all times.
Our main focus is to ensure everyone stays safe to make this the best experience for everyone involved.
PARADE ROUTE
The parade will begin at Innisfil Park, proceed west on Innisfil Beach Road to Jans Blvd. where it will end. The length of the parade depends on many variables. How many floats there may be. There may be an issue along the parade route. Some floats may be slower than others. Plan on seeing Santa in about 2 hours from start time.
There will be an all-inclusive and barrier free SENSORY/QUIET ZONE in place from Innisfil Park exit to the Fire Station on Innisfil Beach Road, so everyone can be a part of our Christmas Parade.
Innisfil Beach Road will be closed to vehicular traffic for approximately 2 hours. Starting at approximately 1PM until the last float makes its way through the spectators.
LETTERS TO SANTA
Kids, have your letters to Santa ready. We will have Santa’s helpers picking them up along the way.
Rain or shine the parade will go on! Dress warmly and see you there!
